Now this is what it was about. Amor had been battling in the city up to this point, but he wanted to let Draco stretch his wings a little, and so he was at the beach, wearing nothing but a pair of swim trunks, and some sandals he was letting the sun grace his skin with it's rays. Stretching out with Draco looming behind him like some sort of bodyguard, Amor was amicable to the people who approached him to oh, and ah at his Dragonite. A few were sneaking glances at him, but that was normal he was use to it by now. What he was really looking for was an opponent for Draco to fight in the sky so he could mix it up a little bit. Battling on the ground was nice, and all, but it was rather mundane after a while.

So he stopped to stare out into the sea of potential competitors, none of them had their Pokemon out, which was a shame. They were at the beach after all, their Pokemon should be able to enjoy the weather just as much as they were. Growing bored of just looking at people Amor figured he'd just ask very loudly if anyone wanted to Sky Battle with him. The worst case scenario people looked at him weird, the best case scenario is that someone actually took him up on his offer.

"Alright! Anyone here want to fight my Draco in the air? He needs to stretch his wings out!" He said a bit loud knowing that those within range would definitely hear him. Hopefully that would be enough for someone to bite, and take him up on his challenge. Because he didn't want to walk around the entire beach shouting for people to come battle him. Now that the initial rush had faded he was trying to take a more measured approach in seeking battle partners.

Thankfully it didn't take long for someone to answer his request, and he smiled at the man. At least he wouldn't have to wander around asking for a battle like some kind of weirdo. When the man pointed to one of the vacant sky arena's Amor just smiled, his blood was already thrumming for the thrill of battle. Of course he was certain that Draco wouldn't lose to anyone, at least not to anything less than Zac, or Doug. Those were his two new goals to defeat those Gym Leaders, and make sure that he had grown since his last battles with them. After all it was like he told Mason, failure could be a good teacher as well.

"Alright you're on!" Amor said, and dashed over to the Sky Arena, taking his spot on the elevated ring, and Draco soared in the air above him. The other man still hadn't chosen his Pokemon yet. However Amor was already ready, their usual tactics would be more than enough to deal someone of this caliber unless they had a Pokemon that he wasn't expecting, like some legendary. Though he had already fought one of those so he wasn't in a hurry to do so again. Whatever that Horse was that Zac had, he was going to do a thorough investigation of it eventually.

His opponent was using a Braviary against him, which was an odd choice in his opinion since Draco would have the obvious edge, but of course that wouldn't matter depending on how skilled his opponent was. However when they were both in their spots on the battlefield the other guy turned to him asked him if he was ready, and Amor just smiled at him.

"Of course...I'll take the first moves then. Draco let's go!" It wasn't an order, not really, but the two of them had battled together long enough that they knew what they were going to do. Being in sync in battles was just a natural part of it when you've been together for so long. Draco's eyes began to glow a light blue, and up above storm clouds would form as he took to the skies going higher than before, and the downpour began. Lightning, and thunder crashed around him as he set the weather to something more fitting for him. They didn't know their opponents strength, so that meant they weren't going to give them an inch of leeway.

His fist electrically charged as he dove towards the Braviary, and attempted to give it a hard Thunder Punch! Amor looked up in the air, and smiled a little. Draco was having fun simply because it was rare that he got to stay in the air against an enemy. Typically he was forced to stay grounded at least for part of it, but now he was free. The sky was his domain, and this hapless bird, and wandered into it.

"I thank you for humoring me. Draco is already having fun I can tell..." he laughed a little, as the rain poured down on him, and the other guy. He had planned on going swimming later so this didn't bother him all that much.

This bird that they were up against was fast, and it was able to dodge the Thunder Punch that they had attempted to throw at it, but it mattered little. It used it's time to use a move to enhance itself, but it would have to do better than that. Running away wasn't going to work, Draco's eyes began to glow that dull blue color again, and an orb of the same color formed in front of his mouth, and he launched it towards the Braviary. Water Pulse was a new move that they had learned during this tournament, and they were going to put it through it's paces. With it's power enhanced by the rain, Amor hoped that it would smash into the flying type, and the best case scenario was that it would then confuse it.

"You're welcome...I figured it was a little to hot out here, and that perhaps we should cool off a little." He chuckled lightly as he watched the battle unfold in front of him. The heavy drops of rain sliding down his body, almost like he was taking a shower, and he basically was in that moment. Of course he didn't mind, how many times had he been caught in battle, and used this move. It would do him no good to worry about it for as often as it happened to him.

Amor didn't have to give orders to Draco, to some of his other Pokemon yes, but Draco had been with him since it was a Dratini, if there was one pokemon that he was truly in sync with, it was his Dragonite. Draco roared into the sky as he looked at his opponent wondering what it would do next.

Amor looked a little confused as to why they would use a Fighting type move on his Dragonite. They had to know that it would deal barely any damage even if they were boosted marginally. Draco didn't even bother to dodge the attack, and as the Superpower slammed into him, his Multiscale defense reduced the damage even further. The damage was negligible at best, and the weather was still in their favor. However after their attack, they took to the sky again, and decided to amp themselves up once more, but this game of guerilla warfare wouldn't go the way they wanted it too. Everything was in his favor as a Dragon, and Draco wasn't going to let some overgrown Pidgey get in the way of his victory.

So he launched himself at the flying type using both Extreme Speed, and Thunder Punch to smash into the opposing flying type before it could try to run away again. They weren't going to give them a chance to keep on recovering, Amor didn't know who his opponent was, but they didn't seem like a type specialist. So he was interested in what sort of strategies they were going to try, and employ in order to deal with him.

So far everyone had tried their own unique approach in how to deal with Draco, who Amor counted as his ace pokemon, but none of them had succeeded yet, the only one that he thought would come close was Zac. However Zac's pokemon were well trained, and he had that mythical pokemon up his sleeve as well. Though he was still sad about that loss, he learned that if that man were to ever go truly all out, Amor would actually be in trouble. It just meant he had to try harder, and this guy across from him was just another stepping stone for him to achieve even greater heights.

"That is curious..." He said simply to himself, still wondering if his opponent was going to try Guerilla Warfare, or a more head on fight.

Their Thunder Punch connected, and it sent sparks of electricity flying over the Braviary's feathers, but that didn't seem to deter it as it flew up higher, and higher, and then it gathered a large amount of aura around itself, and came crashing down hard into Draco. It hit his Dragon easily enough, and it dealt far more damage than it's previous attack, but that wouldn't be enough to slow down Draco. Rather he used Roost, a dull white aura surrounding him, and it seemingly removed all injuries from his body making it as if the last two attacks had never happened, which would no doubt frustrate his opponent, but it was to be expected. Draco wasn't going to go down, or take it easy on some reckless bird that couldn't even hold itself together in the middle of combat. So instead he began to form those light blue orbs of energy in front of his maw again.

Unleashing the Water Pulse towards the bird that was once again trying to enhance itself, but it didn't matter how many times it did. This thing would fall before him as so many other Pokemon did. Draco was not the strongest Pokemon in Amor's arsenal without reason, and it was going to take a lot more than some half baked tricks in order to get through him, and into victory. With the rain still raging around them enhancing the power of his attacks, it wouldn't be much longer before this thing fell like all the others. Was it so hard for him to find a worthy opponent, Draco wanted someone as his equal, how long had he been fighting, and seemingly overcoming. His desire was to find someone worthy to call a rival for himself, sure the other dragons that he lived with were all strong, but they were comrades, it was different.

His lust for this combatant is what drove him forward, propelled him to get even stronger, and soar to even greater heights. Would there ever be anything that would challenge him? He had to admit that he was jealous that he didn't get to fight that strange horse that both Aqua, and Zahak faced off against. It seemed incredibly strong, but Amor had stopped the battle early, something he rarely did, which meant that he knew even if he was sent out. He would have lost, but would that have been so bad?

"Well this is getting interesting now..." Amor stated a bit amused as Draco stared at his opponent waiting for it's next move. With his body rejuvenated that meant his scales were as well, meaning his thick armor was back. Well prepared for the next attack whatever it may be.

This bird was incredibly reckless charging at him once more with another physical type attack, but he didn't mind as it worked out in his favor. His fist was electrically charged once more as he met the bird part way, and smashed his fist into it. Of course he let the retaliate hit so he could get close enough for this to happen. Though whether he hit or not was up in the air, but the damage he suffered from the meager move was cut down by his Multiscale again, thanks to his healing previously his scales had been mended. This bird had no moves that could cut him down in one go that he had observed so far. When it began to back off using that annoying move again that seemed to enhance it's power in some way, he just snarled.

With the distance between them once again, the dragon built up that blue orb of energy again, and launched it back towards it. Since it was recklessly getting hit by them each time, he would keep lobbing Water Pulses at it until it fell to the ground defeated. It was only a matter of time in his opinion until his opponent simply succumbed especially with no real way to recover.

Amor was honestly surprised that he was having what seemed like such an easy time against this person, this Pokemon that they were using was obviously not one that they used often. He felt that if it were, it's move diversity would be much greater than it currently was, but for the moment that wasn't the case. Looking over his opponent he wondered who he was exactly, but there would be time for questions later. Or not depending on how battle hungry Draco was after this match, it was one of the few things he liked about his Dragonite, his desire to be stronger.
